Hey Allan and Benedict.
So far, I have mostly been using ZFS with FreeBSD, but in the near future I will need it on Linux for one of my machines. From what I gather, when using ZFS with Linux, it is recommended to set the xattr option to "sa" to store extended attributes in inodes. I noticed that FreeBSD does not support this option, so I am wondering how this would affect my ability to use ZFS send to transfer datasets to my backup server, which runs FreeBSD with ZFS. Would the extended attributes just be ignored or how would the systems react?

Best regards,
Troels, Denmark
